Class Experience
This class is designed to be a place of support and individualized instruction for learners who like to draw. There is a range of drawing materials that we can work with such as graphite pencils, oil pastels, ink, charcoal and markers. Also, we can decide what subject to draw based on the interests of the learner. In drawing, I teach foundational skills and the elements and principles of art (shape, line, color, texture, perspective, volume, etc). Having a foundation of skills and...
1) Students will create a drawing based on individualized objectives 2) Students will create a drawing incorporating one or more of the following: drawing with shapes, sketching, proportion, volume, shading, and perspective.
I am a certified K-12 art educator and a professional artist.
Materials may include: Paper (drawing or mixed media) pencil colored pencils oil pastels markers black permanent marker
Learner progress is assessed through discussion and demonstration.
45 minutes per class, and maybe some time outside of class.
