In this private one-time session, the student will learn that honesty is more than simply not lying with your words. It's also about how you act and telling the whole truth, which begins by being honest with yourself.

Description

Class Experience

Many people, especially children, think that honesty is a simple case of not telling lies. But that definition allows a person to "be honest" by remaining silent or leaving out elements of situations that will make them look bad. Honesty is also about how a person acts, not behaving in ways that confuse or deceive others. 

So in this one-on-one session, the student will learn three ways people need to be honest:

This class is taught in English.

The teacher has been certified to teach in Washington State since 1990 (including endorsements in special education from preschool through high school) and has taught in multiple settings. In 1984 at age 21, he was named Big Brother of the Year in King County, the most populous county in Washington, for his volunteer work with a 3rd-grade boy. He has taught leadership classes throughout his career and serves as a mentor to children and adults who want to hone their leadership abilities. He has a knack for engaging children who, having worked with Andy, feel consistently respected and buoyed by these interactions.
