Class Experience
Beginner - Advanced Level
In this class, learners can work on anything cello-related. Maybe you want to work on ensemble music or improve your technique, or maybe you have a certain piece of music you'd like to learn. Or maybe you are brand new to the cello and want to get started! Learners of any age or level are welcome to take this class. Please contact me with any questions prior to enrolling in this class. I have been teaching cello for over 25 years, both Suzuki and traditional methods. I also specialize in audition coaching/preparation.
Learning Goals
Beginners will learn the fundamentals of cello playing - posture, bow hold, finger placement, note reading, etc.
Experienced students will continue to progress with more challenging repertoire, incorporating advanced techniques such as double-stops, shifting, vibrato, etc.
