1:1 Pre-Algebra & Algebra 1: Linear Equations

This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts typically taught in 8th grade, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1 math classes. The focus of this class is linear equations. Below is a list of concepts that could be covered during this class. Learners are also able to bring homework or classroom assignments involving linear equations to the class meetings for assistance.

•Identifying Solutions to Linear Equations, and Finding Slope From a Graph
•Finding Slope from Two Points and from a Table
•Graphing Lines in Slope-Intercept Form
•Graphing Lines Point-Slope Form and Standard Form
•Writing Linear Equations 
•Horizontal, Vertical, Parallel and Perpendicular Lines
