Personal tutoring session(s) for grades K-8th in phonics, spelling, and writing by an Orton Gillingham trained teacher and veteran homeschool mom. I teach phonics using the Science of Reading approach.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class is set up under the ongoing class format but can be scheduled for 1 week or many weeks. Just let me know when signing up! Also -- if you need a session sooner for immediate homework help -- reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! Students will get one on one personalized tutoring in whatever area of reading/writing they are seeking improvement. Sessions will be individualized according to the skill(s) to be covered, to include, but not limited to: letter sounds word...
Students will gain confidence and see skill improvement in trouble areas.
I have tutored for over 10 years and have homeschooled my 4 kids over 20 years -- what works with one child does not always work with another. Children learn to read and write on their own timetables and get tripped up in different places. I am a grammar nerd and a writing geek.... these things make sense to me and I love helping to make them come alive to others! I like to make learning fun and use what students are already interested in to teach them the things they might be missing. I like to see reading and writing "click"!
