US Grade Kindergarten - 5
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Our first session will be spent assessing your learner's needs. Once I have determined their understanding of how sounds translate to written words, I will prepare a plan of action. This plan will include a long-term set of goals. We will work on each goal through reading, writing, and word study based on the Science of Reading. Your learner should meet with me twice a week for the best possible outcome. Possible Lesson Flow: *Phonological Awareness Skills/Drills: blending or segmenting sounds, rhyming, changing the sounds in words, word sorts, or isolating sounds in words *New Skill Introduction *Reading words in isolation *Spelling *Reading sentences or a passage

Dry Erase Board and Markers OR Paper and Pencil. Printouts may be sent as well.
