Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learner will gain phonological awareness of each letter of the English alphabet progressing toward reading readiness.
One tactile letter formation page with sound pairing using printed letters and playdoh* will be assigned weekly. *Play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.

Learner will be initially assessed using a rubric of letters and sound formation. Learner will be monthly assessed using a rubric of the letters introduced and reviewed.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
