1:1 Personalized ESL Class (45 Minutes!)

This is a one-on-one English lesson for students who are looking to improve their English. All English levels are welcome; beginner, intermediate, or advanced. We can practice reading, spoken, or written English.

This class is designed just for your child. I can teach specific topics, help with homework, or simply practice English conversation with them. Whatever your learning goals are, I will accommodate them. 

Possible topics include (but are not limited to):

Simple vocabulary like colors, numbers, or the alphabet 
Talking about clothes, food, or animals
How to tell a story
Daily activities
Hobbies/likes/dislikes
Future plans
Practicing specific grammar structures 

1 on 1 tutoring is the best way to maximize student speaking practice. I believe that student output is the most important factor in learning a new language. Therefore, my teaching method is to encourage my students to speak confidently and abundantly. One way of doing this is by talking about things that the student is interested in. Does your child like to talk about Pokemon? Then let's talk about that! This makes the student excited to learn English without even realizing it, which is a very effective way to learn.

If you are interested in private tutoring, please inform me of your child's English level, age, learning goals, and topics of interest. Perhaps your student is interested in art, music, sports, or video games. I can design the class based on their individual interests.

This class is perfect for anyone who has used other ESL learning platforms such as VIPKID, Magic Ears, GOGOKID, italki, or Palfish. I myself have several years of experience teaching English as a second language both online and in person as a TEFL certified teacher.
