Class Experience

Meet Mavi – a trained support worker in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading and spelling. She's here to assist your learner's needs as this method requires frequent practice. The highly effective Orton-Gillingham method provides specialized instruction to students aged 7-18.

Through multisensory learning, this tutoring can help students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences to become confident and successful readers. Tools such as Sound Drill Cards, Tactile Grids, Phonological Awareness Cards, and Games will be provided ahead of class and shared on-screen. What we practice builds into a printable reference book that will be specific to your learner.

Please note that we use Whiteboard, and Chromebooks are not applicable. For older learners, we have a customized approach that is tailored to their needs. We also incorporate fun learning techniques such as meme-based learning and Growth Mindset Tactile Word projects.

We will create materials in class as well for daily practice at home.

Join Mavi for your practice needs!
