Ignite the joy of reading with me engaging and personalized Private Orton-Gillingham Tutoring sessions! Join me on an exciting journey where learners transform into the confident readers they were destined to be. In our 30-minute sessions, students will embark on a captivating learning experience. Through the use of multi-sensory activities, I will engage all their senses to master the essential skills of phonics, spelling, reading, sight words. This is also perfect for ESL learners. Experience the flexibility of our sessions designed to fit your schedule! We'll meet two times a week for 30 minutes each, ensuring focused and efficient learning. However, I understand that every child's needs are unique. If you feel like your child needs more or fewer sessions, simply message me, and we'll work together to figure out a schedule that best suits their learning journey. Get ready to explore the Orton-Gillingham approach, a proven method that embraces explicit, sequential, systematic, and multi-sensory teaching. By breaking down reading and writing into manageable building blocks, we ensure a solid foundation for success. Week after week, students will eagerly discover new letter sounds, reinforcing their knowledge and expanding their literacy skills. This exclusive tutoring opportunity is particularly beneficial for struggling readers and students with Dyslexia. I provide a nurturing environment where they can gain confidence while honing their phonemic awareness, comprehension, and fluency skills. My tailored approach is designed to address their unique needs and empower them to excel in reading. To kick off our journey together, our first session will be a comprehensive assessment. For our young learners who haven't had formal reading instruction, typically those in kindergarten, I'll individually evaluate their phonological awareness, alphabet recognition, and sound naming abilities. For other students, assessments will be based on their reading instruction background. This assessment will allow me to pinpoint the ideal starting point in our curriculum, ensuring customized guidance for each child. Enroll your child in my Private Orton-Gillingham Tutoring sessions today and witness the incredible growth and confidence that comes with becoming a skilled reader. Let's unlock their full potential and open the doors to a lifetime of learning and enjoyment through the magic of words. Here is how the first session of the week will go: 1. Introduction/check-in (students get to share how they are doing or something fun they did since our last class) 2. Three-Part Drill (visual, auditory/kinesthetic, blending of letters/sounds previously taught) 3. Vowel Intensive (if needed for mastering short vowel sounds) 4. Review previously learned concept 5. New concept (multi-sensory experience, application/dictation of new concept) 6. Comprehension or fluency (read a leveled reader or poem) *Students will have to learn letters C, O, A, D before we can do some of the activities. This will take a few weeks. Here is how the second session of the week will go: 1. Introduction/check-in 2. Three-Part Drill (visual, auditory/kinesthetic, blending of letters/sounds previously taught) 3.
