Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 3
This 1:1 ongoing private math tutoring class will be tailored to the needs of the individual student enrolled. This class will focus on beginning concepts of multiplication such as arrays, equal groups, commutative property, skip counting, repeated addition, as well as learning and practicing multiplication facts through 12. Each class will focus on improving the desired skills of your individual student. If you have something specific you would like to be covered, please let me know. Otherwise I can begin with basic foundations of multiplication according to your students age/grade level and adjust the curriculum each week according to their skill level and desired areas of improvement. Each class will be fun and interactive for the student. Printouts will be provided as needed and the students can also use touch screen if they have that available. (This makes it more fun but is not required). My teaching style is warm and very patient. This puts the child at ease, for stress free learning and fun! Please feel free to request alternate time slots if needed.
Learning Goals
The goal of this 1:1 ongoing private math tutoring class is for students to make improvement in understanding and skills in the concepts covered at their individual pace.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
