US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Beginner - Advanced Level
This private ongoing math tutoring class will be tailored to the needs of the individual student enrolled. Whether it be counting, addition, subtraction, subitizing, shapes and colors, each class will focus on improving areas where needed. If you have something specific you would like to be covered, please let me know. Otherwise I can begin with basic Math according to your students age/grade level and adjust the curriculum each week according to their skill level and desired areas of improvement. Each class will be fun and interactive for the student. Printouts will be provided as needed and the students can also use touch screen if they have that available. (This makes it more fun but is not required). My teaching style is warm and very patient. This puts the child at ease, for stress free learning and fun!

The goal is for students to make improvement in understanding and skills of the desired concepts covered.

Students will be provided with any needed printouts, ahead of each class, based on the curriculum direction each week.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
