Class Experience
Never fear - essay writing help is here! No matter what stage you are at, together we will work on improving your essay-writing skills. These individualized tutoring sessions will help students ages 13-18 take their essay-writing skills to the next level. We can work on essays from all subject areas. All learners are welcome, including those that are neurodiverse. This class will be beneficial for any student who has an essay to write. We will start with an icebreaker for your learner to...
Students will improve their essay writing skills in the areas of structure, content, and conventions by analyzing their essays and applying their new learning to their writing.
I have taught English and Language for 17+ years, and have been a certified teacher for 15 years. I have taught ages 14-18 in all levels of English courses (including essay writing skills) and have marked thousands of essays over the years! I have completed Special Education Part One, Part Two, and Specialist, and last summer I took an additional course in teaching students with Autism. In my role as a high school teacher, I teach a Learning Strategies course and have a caseload of 100+ students that are neurodiverse that I support every day. I am also a Google Certified Educator and have taken a course in teaching through eLearning and have taught online for two years through other platforms. In addition, all three of my children are neurodivergent, with ASD, Anxiety, and Giftedness.
If students are using an essay they are writing for another class, (or using my prompt and wanting to continue revising and editing their essay for learning purposes) they will need to continue working on their essay after this session. The time needed will depend on how much work they still need to do on their essays.
