Class Experience
This will be a private lesson on mindfulness based on where your (pre) teen is on their mindfulness journey. It is recommended that students take Stress Relief and Mindful Self-Care for High School Students. This is a great introduction to learning about mindfulness and in these private lesson we will continue to learn more about how to practice daily mindfulness in simple, accessible ways. Mindfulness has been a powerful gift in my life and I share this with with young people because as a high school teacher and former elementary and middle school teacher I see how much it has benefited my students.

Supply List
A journal and something to write with. It is also recommended to have a cushion or comfortable place to sit.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
In additional to having over 10 years of experience in education, I am certified to teach in high school, I have experience teaching mindfulness to teens in schools and I am a certified holistic health coach and yoga and mindfulness instructor.
