1:1 Middle School Math, Pre Algebra and Algebra Tutoring (40 Min)
Semester-long 1:1 tutoring class with a certified, experienced math teacher. I teach math for grades 6-10 and I will customize your learners' classes to fit their needs! This session can also be run multiple days a week.

I am a certified math teacher who specializes in Middle School Math (Pre-Algebra), Algebra 1 and Geometry. I love to help students individually. I am patient, creative, and determined to help students succeed. Your learner will receive individual tutoring each week. You and your learner can choose the topics that we cover in the class, I can help your learner with their homework, or I can choose the topics to cover based on your learner's needs. Your learner's needs can also be determined by a short assessment in our first class. If you have a curriculum you would like me to follow, just send it to me in a message. I can teach from any curriculum. If you are interested in two or more days per week or in a time outside of my scheduled classes, send me a message and I can set up that schedule for you! This is an Ongoing course so you can enroll or unenroll at any time! This course will last for the duration of the 2022-2023 school year. If you are interested in summer tutoring, we can communicate about setting up a schedule for that.

Hi! My name is Andi and I am so excited to be teaching math classes on Outschool! I have taught high school and middle school math at both public and international schools for the past five years. I have a Maine teaching certification for grades 5-12 math.
I love to teach math classes that are fun and hands-on and I enjoy helping students build a conceptual understanding of math. My course offerings include activities like using Algebra Tiles, practicing math through cooking and baking, playing math games, and teaching different and interesting techniques for solving problems. I love working with all students at all levels in math.
In my free time I enjoy travelling, running, surfing, cooking, reading and hanging out with my cat, Willard!
