In this ongoing 1:1 class, learners will improve their mathematics skills with a personal action plan based on strengths and learning needs. I use a wide range of engaging materials, games and optional homework to accelerate progress.

Does your child need that extra boost with their mathematics? Do they need extension into their next level? In this 1:1 private tutoring class, I will build lessons around your child's personal needs, whether that be help with number knowledge, strategies or word problems. I'm here to help with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and more! I have a wide range of resources and lesson plans that I draw from, depending on the learner's age and ability. I love to include games and interesting materials and contexts to engage the learner, based on the first session when we get to know each other and how they learn best. Please message me before your first lesson to let me know the area of mathematics you would like your child to work on and their current ability (if known). I make my classroom a safe, positive environment where mistakes are used to shape our next steps. Lots of praise and encouragement will be used to build up their confidence. I am a qualified teacher with a Master in Teaching, and I have experience working in Montessori, both in 6-9 and 9-12 classrooms. I truly believe happiness and confidence are the key to learning! I also offer reading private tutoring, if your learner needs an extra boost or extension in that area too. I look forward to meeting you!

I also have ESL/EFL tutoring available in other classes.
Supply List
- notebook and pencil Other materials that may be needed will be requested before the lesson, such as items needed for practical maths activities and games (e.g. popsicle sticks, counters, marbles, dice, playdough). I'm happy to work with what families have available to them.

Hello! My name is Miss T. I’m a certified primary school teacher with a Master of Teaching, a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Second Language Education, and a Certificate in ESOL Home Tutoring.
I love teaching children aged 6-12. I have several years of classroom experience delivering carefully planned, targeted curriculum in the core areas of English and Mathematics.
