Class Experience
What will be taught?
In this class, the student will be able to ask the teacher questions and review material that the student needs help with. However, parents have the option to re-book my class again for future lessons. Each time, I will create a different lesson that is tailored for each individual student.
What topics will you cover?
Depending on the student's needs, we will meet for 60 minutes per class and review any topic/subject the student is struggling with. Subjects...This class is taught in English.
Students will improve on individual math skills.
MA in Childhood Special Education in grades 1st-6th. 10 years of teaching experience in both public schools and online.
I will not be assigning homework in this class, unless parents and I feel it is necessary.
Learners should only need a pen and paper. If something else is needed, I will message my student and parents.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
As we work together, I will monitor my student's understanding of the material being taught. I will ask students questions to ensure my student comprehends the information. I also use games, songs, poems, youtube video clips and a discussion at the end of class.
45 minutes per class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
There will be no inappropriate content in these tutoring sessions. I provide my classes with fun and educational activities, like YouTube video clips, stories, games and prizes.
I have over 9 years of experience teaching these different subjects to 1st-6th grade students.
