We will cover late elementary school or early middle school math content to help review key concepts or prepare students for the next grade. I will model work for students and then they will have the opportunity to get lots of practice with the material. After practicing, students will get feedback on their work with specific guidance on their successes and areas they can improve. I have 11 years of experience in schools, from teaching math directly to helping coach math teachers from 5th-9th grade math. I would be excited to help out in any way that I can. I've worked with many different types of learners and have experience teaching math before and after the introduction of the Common Core.
Students will need paper and a pencil - that's it!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
