Does your child need support with growing as a mathematician? Please message me before our lesson so I can create a customized lesson for your child. I will communicate with you and assess your child to best understand their needs. I will use my experience as an Elementary Education to work on number sense and computation skills. Examples include place value concepts, rounding, multi-digit adding/subtracting with regrouping, multi-digit multiplication/diviosion using multiple strategies, decimal understanding, and fractions. I will include step by step directions and visuals to engage your learner. These sessions are help 1:1 so your child will get my full attention. We can schedule more sessions, as needed.

Pencil and paper or whiteboard and marker will be beneficial to show calculations.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am a math lover! I will be teaching all things math related, from place value, to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, and geometry. If you are in need of some reteaching or just extra support, I am your go to! I spent three years teaching preschoolers ranging from 6 weeks old to 4 years old. I also spent eight years teaching public school students in the ages of 8-10. I find learning to be easiest when charts, visuals, graphs, videos, examples, and manipulatives are used. Lastly, learning deepens with peer interaction and conversations. I am an organized and silly person who adores her husband and two toddlers!
