Class Experience
Sometimes a student just needs an explanation from a different teacher. I am passionate about providing instruction to help students master math topics. I would like students to bring to our session any question types that they are struggling to comprehend. Together, we will work through the problems. When necessary, I will provide instruction on any foundational knowledge that is preventing them from being successful. I will also provide extra practice if we finish early or the student...
This class is taught in English.
Students should be able apply practical stratagies to solve the math problems they bring to the session. This will sometimes include memorizing a few vocabulary terms or a shortcut list which helps them break down hard problems. They will learn to look at a new problem and apply what they know in order to solve it.
Please upload samples of your work in advance. This will help us make the most of our time together. If you are preparing for a test, bring a list of topics covered on the test. Have paper, a calculator, and pencil with you.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per class, and maybe some time outside of class.
