1:1 Math Tutoring Session for K-8Th Grade

**KIMBERLY**
My name is Kimberly and I teach Reading, Spanish, French, and ESL test preparation classes to K-12 and adult students. I have been teaching language classes for over 13 years in public and private schools in Canada, France, and Mexico - as well as online. I hold a B.A in French/Spanish with a minor in Linguistics, as well as a degree in Pedagogy and TESOL certificate. 
What got me into teaching was a volunteer opportunity to help students learning English in my hometown, and I quickly realized how much I loved teaching and helping others develop their communication skills through language. 
We'll be a great fit if you are ready to participate a lot during our lessons and try your best, while having fun and bringing a positive attitude to class. This means that you are not afraid to try new things and are willing to express your needs and ask questions during our classes. My greatest interest is developing a lesson that works best for you!

Hola! I’m Paula, and I teach Spanish, Bilingual Math, and ESL to elementary students, as well as Spanish as a World Language to middle schoolers. I have 8 years of teaching experience—3 in Colombia and 5 in North Carolina— and I hold a Bachelor's in English/French Foreign Language Teaching and a North Carolina teaching certification in Spanish Foreign Language Teaching.

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and collaborative. My passion for learning drives my teaching, and I aim to share that enthusiasm with you.

A fun fact about me is that I love plantains in any form! We’ll be a great fit if you’re excited about learning and ready to work together to reach your goals.

**MARTHA**
 
Hi, I'm Martha! I’m a retired bilingual teacher with over 20 years experience in teaching ESL, Bilingual Reading, Bilingual Math, and Spanish. I have a Bachelor's in Science, a Master's in Education, and a Texas teaching license for PK-6th grade.

I discovered my teaching passion while volunteering at a church, after someone noticed my natural ability to work with children, and suggested that I pursue a career in teaching.

A fun fact about me: My first language is Spanish, but I switched to English when I started elementary school.

**DEMI**
Hi! My name is Demi and I'm from Pennsylvania ◡̈ I received my Bachelor's of Science degree at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, and English Language Arts. I also hold my TEFL certification.

I went on to teach Learning Support and ESL at an international school in Germany for four years. After that, I taught in a preschool in the US before moving onto teach English at a bilingual school in Rota, Spain. I'm currently teaching online and I absolutely love it!

When I'm not teaching I enjoy going to the gym, snowboarding, and reading a good book ◡̈ My goal is to speak Spanish fluently so I also love to practice Spanish in my free time!
