1:1 Math Homework Help/Test Prep (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry)

Do you have a child that is struggling in Math? Do you have a child who could benefit from extra help with their homework or studying for an upcoming test? Look no further than my One-on-One homework help/test prep sessions! 

I’m a licensed special education math teacher, and I have eight years of experience in the classroom. I have taught middle school math, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. I’m passionate about helping students learn math, but even deeper than that, I’m passionate about helping them overcome the barriers of self-esteem and anxiety that prevent students from learning and building their skills. 

In this section, I am offering 30-minute time slots for general homework help or test prep. This can include help preparing for classroom exams or any state-standardized math tests your child may have to take this school year. After registering for a session, please send the topic your child is currently working on or any homework assignments or test review assignments your child has received. During the session, I will take what is given and review as much as time allows. This can include modeling a problem for a student, guiding them through a problem set, decoding word problems, test-taking strategies, or developing a study guide/plan to help the learner prepare for an upcoming exam. Please note: for this offering, I will not create any lesson material outside of what the learner is currently working on in their math class.
