Students will improve their Spanish skills in the areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar.
Hello! My name is Marcie and I am an Outschool Spanish tutor and teacher. I have been teaching Spanish in the public schools since 1999. I graduated with a bachelor's in Spanish and a master's in education with a focus in Spanish. I have been a Spanish teacher for the past 25 years. I am currently a certified public school Spanish teacher. I have taught levels 1-4 in the traditional classroom for the first 15 years of my teaching career. For the past 10 years, I have also given private lessons and tutored students online, primarily elementary students and middle school students. I studied abroad in Spain. I developed a love and passion for the Spanish language and culture and decided to live in Spain for several years with my family. I am fluent in Castilian Spanish.
Optional resources and activities will be provided.
I assess the learner informally.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Quizlet- I will assign optional activities on these educational platforms for reinforcement games/activities. There will be a student log in code for this class accessible via Outschool messaging Youtube- I use this platform to share educational videos via screensharing.
Quizlet.com, conjuguemos.com and other teacher provided materials.
