Welcome to Mrs. D's Art Room where it is always a good day when you are learning something new. In this one-time class, young artists will use step-by-step instructions to draw and paint an awesome landscape painting of an orange giraffe in the jungle in acrylics and we will learn some fun facts about the animal. I will share a few interesting acrylic painting techniques such as 1. How to color giraffe eyes and ears. 1. Background coloring using some fun fan brush techniques. 2. Dry...
Young artists will improve their drawing and painting skills. Also, learn some acrylic color techniques while landscaping. While painting Young artists will learn some interesting and unique facts about an animal.
Material List: 1. Acrylics artist pad/multi-media drawing paper (whatever size you desire) 2. Pencil 3. Eraser 4. Fine tip sharpie 5. Fan Brush 6. Acrylic paints 7. Brushes-round and flat 8. Color mixing palate 9. Small water cup for cleaning paintbrushes 10. Paper towels
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
