In this interactive, hands-on, visual, and auditory class, the student will learn skills such as:

Week of January 5: Reading Comprehension for details & Counting to 120

Week of January 12: Adjectives & Counting Before, After, and Between

Week of January 19: Table of Contents Activity & Place Value

Week of January 26: Glossary Activity & Great Than, Less Than, and Equal To

Week of February 2: Spelling & Ten more, Ten Less Counting

Week of February 9: Phonics & Adding and Subtracting within 20

Week of February 16: Capitalization and Punctuation & Properties of Addition

Week of February 23: Nouns & True or False Equations

Week of March 2: Subject-Verb Agreement & Finding the Variable

Week of March 9: Pronouns & Word Problems

Week of March 16: Verb Tense & Measurement: Length

Week of March 23: Conjunctions, Determiners, and Prepositions & Measurement: Time

Week of March 30: Vocabulary: Root Words and Affixes & Data: Tables and Graphs

Week of April 6: Vocabulary: Categories and Shades of Meaning & Geometry

During this 45-minute class, the first 20-minutes will be dedicated to Language Arts and Reading, followed by 20-minutes of Math. There will be a stretch break between each section. Student and teacher interaction is constant during this class.

Parental Guidance
Kahoot may be used during our class exercise or for extra practice. Please download for your student the app for Kahoot! from either Play Store, Apple Store, or the app on the device the student will use. My Kahoot! account is private, I will paste the links into the classroom. Access to my exercises is exclusively through the links I share in the classroom.
