I have been teaching for 10 years and love spending my days with students each day! For this class, I can base the lesson on specific needs (that you as the parent provides to me) or they can bring homework to work on. I can answer questions, provide strategies, or just be an ear to listen while your learner talks through ideas and strategies of their own. Regardless of what is taught and discussed…your child will have fun while in this class. The first class would be spent with myself getting to know your learner and finding out more about what skills may need to be addressed.

Oftentimes, parents worry about the “summer slide.” This class would be perfect for preparing for the next school year or catching up on anything that might be lacking.

Topics may include: 
Language Arts: CVC & CVCE words, blending, digraphs, letters/sounds, sight words 


Why this class?:
-I have wonderful management skills!
-I think play and fun is incredibly important, and will serve as a basis for all lessons. 
-I believe in a fair and equal, quality education for all learners. That is a must in my class at all times. 

I will provide tutoring 4 days a week for 35 minutes each day. (Feel free to enroll in as many days as you would like)
