Description
Class Experience
Take the stress out of homework with this 1:1 session that provides a dedicated time each week (or however often you choose), for your student to get help with their homework each week! You can send a message ahead of time with the subject or topic of the homework that day, or simply show up and I will help the best I can with a simple check-in at the beginning of class. Students will complete their homework accurately, efficiently and to the best of their ability. Students will practice the skills required by their homework assignment(s). Students will receive support and instruction based on their homework assignment(s). Students will learn from and improve their knowledge and application of the subjects / concepts in their homework assignment(s).
I have four years of experience as a classroom teacher and five years of experience teaching and tutoring online. I have degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish, and studied abroad in Chile. I am a trained life coach and have taken extra credits for expertise in teaching writing. I am a kind and encouraging teacher. I love seeing my students succeed and supporting them along the way! :)
Since this class is designed to support students with completing, and learning through the process of doing, their homework -- there is not extra homework assigned with this class. Extra activities to support further practice of skills from their homework may be provided upon request.
Your homework assignment(s)! :) And some extra paper or other tools necessary that are specific to your assignment. For example, a Spanish/English dictionary for Spanish, calculator for math, etc.
Learners are assessed based on participation and completing their work to the best of their ability. This includes asking questions and staying focused on their work during the session.
