I love helping highschoolers with history lessons, whether at the AP level, for remedial help, or for learners who just want feed their curiosity. I tutor all types and levels of HS History, from World History to AP US History or AP European History.

Each private tutoring session includes 1) instruction in the craft of history, and 2) homework help. I work with learners and their parents to make a customized learning plan that includes assistance with the learner's regular course of study and instruction in the fundamentals of historical inquiry and narrative, such as close reading, primary source research, and essay writing.

I have a BA and MA in History, and have spent years honing my research, reading, thesis writing, and language skills. I have been tutoring/teaching subjects in social studies for 2+ years.
My students consistently show marked progress, and I have students who have achieved up to 2 letter-grades higher with my help and their hard work.

Ultimately, I love to see students connect deeply with their studies while having fun in the process. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your learning goals! Thank you!
