This purpose of this class is to provide tutoring and instructional support to students taking basic college prep high school biology. (not honors or AP biology)
Class experience
US Grade 9 - 11
This 1-on-1 class will be customized to the needs of the individual student. Whether the student needs help learning how to do Punnett Squares, understanding protein synthesis, or just mastering all the biology vocabulary, this class will help your student get through basic college prep high school biology. Homework Offered
Depending on the topic, homework may be assigned to help reinforce topics discussed and taught. Homework may take approximately 10-20 minutes per week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Informal assessments may be helpful to determine how well the student has mastered the material and whether additional practice is needed for a particular topic or concept.Grades Offered
Student's biology textbook used for their class at school, student's biology notebook and related papers and assignments.
