Homework
We will talk a lot about how to practice properly throughout the week. I try to find the right balance to get them to practice consistently without them getting too overwhelmed. My goal is to try to keep things fun so that it won't feel like homework.Assessment
I will keep in touch with the parent on the progress of the student.Class Experience
🎸I will teach/coach/train your child on how to play beginner, intermediate, advanced guitar in either rock, pop, classical, blues, country, or jazz styles. 🎸I will teach the fundamentals of guitar and music to help the student reach their goals. For absolute beginners, I focus mostly on technique while I slowly introduce various concepts they will need to understand. I try to have them learn using music/songs they enjoy. I also introduce them to songs that I know will help them. Over time they will learn how to read and understand music to form a stronger connection to the instrument. 🎸If the student already has some experience I will find the best practices for them to advance their skills. I will also find any bad habits that were formed along the way. No knowledge of music or guitar is needed to get started but I can teach any beginner, intermediate, and advanced guitarists! ⭐HOW LESSON TIME COULD BE SPENT⭐ 🎸Technique building through exercises and repertoire🎸 🎸Coaching / mentoring your project🎸 🎸 Creativity through composing / improvising🎸 🎸 Practicing / drilling your material (almost like I’m a personal trainer)🎸 🎸 Organizing your practice/workflow🎸 🎸 Reviewing / catching up on material🎸
