Class Experience
US Grade 7
In this class, learners will be given guided practice problems to revisit and practice skills and concepts typically taught in the seventh grade math. This should not be the learner's first exposure to these mathematical concepts. Spiral review is a teaching method where students regularly revisit and practice previously learned concepts. By repeatedly encountering them over time, learners can reinforce their understanding and build fluency with key skills. Learners will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Concepts and skills can include any of the following: *Unit Rates *Proportions *Ratios and Percent *Integers and Rational Numbers *Pre-Algebra *Geometry *Data Analysis *Probability Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and have recently developed skills as an online educator due to school closures. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy watching television and movies, and traveling with my family.
