In this 10-week class, students will practice 6th grade reading comprehension, discuss literature, figurative language, essay writing, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.  We will do a novel study of Wishtree and write a 5-paragraph essay.

A 10-week class where we will read the novel Wishtree, build our vocabulary, practice grammar, and learn how to write a 5-paragraph essay.

In this lesson, students will get to know each other and the teacher.
We will go over the course syllabus.
