This course is designed as a flexible, ongoing, 1:1 class where students will analyze and discuss their assigned or choice novels with a certified English instructor. I am a certified English Teacher with over six years of experience teaching classic novels to students of all ability levels. I have worked with AP, gifted, differently-abled and reluctant readers. My goal is to inspire students to love reading while teaching them to think about literature academically.
This 1:1 course is a great fit for students with unique learning needs (ADHD, Dyslexia, ASD ect) who need extra support and discussion while reading lengthy pieces.
Students must have their own copy of their selected novel. This can be a hard copy or a digital copy. I will secure my own copy for discussions.
