This lesson will include an introduction between teacher and student. After properly introducing ourselves in class, we move forward to using some basic vocab about feelings (happy, sad, angry, scared). This class will have interactive slides (students may require adult assistance or instruction prior to class on how to draw/write in this platform). Students will familiarize themselves with the question, "What's your name?" and the response, "My name is _____." Students will become familiar and be able to identify the vocab and use them in simple sentences, "I am happy/sad/angry/scared."
There will be no homework assigned for this class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be assessing each student with a personalized written report regarding their strengths in class, as well as things to practice and review at home.
