Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! My name is Diana and writing is my jam!

Writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I dedicated six years to my college education, earning a Master’s Degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing and American Literature. Throughout my academic journey, I've been fascinated by understanding how students learn best and adapting my teaching methods accordingly.

With 16 years of teaching experience under my belt, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of educational settings, from high schools, community colleges, International programs, and 4-year universities. Along the way, I've honed my skills in engaging learners of all backgrounds and stages of life.

Learning how to write academically, creatively, and effectively is not just about mastering words on a page; it's about developing critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills that are essential for success in college and beyond. Whether it's crafting a compelling argument for a research paper or expressing oneself creatively in a personal essay, the ability to communicate effectively is invaluable in college coursework and beyond. By honing their writing skills now, students are not only preparing for the academic rigors of college but also laying the foundation for future success in their careers and personal endeavors.

Outside of the classroom, I'm constantly exploring new ways to inspire students and enhance their learning experience. Whether it's through developing fresh course materials or sharing insights with my colleagues, I'm always seeking to create an environment where students can thrive.

I can't wait to start working with you!
