Assessment
Learners will be given a pre-assessment during our first lesson to gauge their level and needs. Periodic assessments will be given to measure progress and guide future lessons. Informal assessment/running records will be taken during lessons.Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 2
**I do not currently have tutoring availability for new students** In this ongoing course, students will work 1:1 with an experienced teacher in a topic or skill of their (or their grown-up's) choosing. Sample topics include: letter identification, letter sounds, CVC Words, rhyming, segmenting, or general phonemic awareness. These classes are meant for short, intensive bursts of instruction and practice. Each session will include games, chants, or songs to keep learners engaged and active. I have a familiar, consistent, and fun teaching style and I am skilled in creating a positive rapport with learners and their families. It is my aim to assist students academically while building trust.

Access to a printer, scissors, glue, writing utensils, whiteboard/dry-erase marker.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
