In this private tutoring session, the learner will benefit from having one-to-one interaction specifically focused on the skill of creative writing with an award-winning screenwriter! Coach Jen guides each learner through a series of fun, substantial, thought provoking, and engaging creative writing lessons and exercises that encourages every individual learner to further develop their talent and grows their skills within the realm of creative writing. Our creative writing time together is highly educational, transformative, and oh - so much fun! 💫

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Learners should have an open and safe work space where they feel a sense of creative freedom.
I do my very best to ensure all material covered in this class is age appropriate. With that said, some creative writing exercises in class are improvisational in manner, and I am mindful to not censor the students' content unless it is offensive or excessively violent. Mild comedic violence does filter into students' writing content from time to time, and some potentially "scary" themes (e.g. - ghosts, zombies, etc.) do present themselves on occasion.
Supply List
Learners should have a safe work space where they feel a sense of creative freedom. Learners will also need a pen or pencil and a 'creative writing club journal / notebook', OR a computer / tablet with a keyboard - to complete writing exercises and prompts. Having a water bottle handy, is always recommended as well.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
