1 hour per week. If learning Computer Science for the first time, mini-projects may be assigned. Projects may include building a calculator that does arithmetic, a basic website, or a short game. Project length should not necessarily exceed 45 minutes.Class Experience
The instructor's goal is to cover any computer science concept that would like to learned. Languages include Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, C, C++, and Scratch The student may learn to code for the first time. If there's homework assistance needed, then it can addressed also. Additional timing can happily be discussed if needed! ------ How the class might be conducted (can vary) Student goals are presented to the instructor beforehand. The course will prepare specialized learning materials for the student. The student will learn or go over CS concepts. Concepts may be covered simultaneously via powerpoint . If a first-timer, materials may include mini-coding projects: a calculator, a website, etc. If looking for enrichment - preparation for AP CS exam - or HW help, students will provide details beforehand.
