    Music Theory: How to read and write music notation, understanding rhythm, melody, and basic harmony.
    Piano Technique: The foundations of healthy piano technique, including proper hand position, finger coordination, and developing strength and dexterity.
    Vocal Technique: The basics of healthy vocal production, breath support, posture, tone development, and diction.
    Ear Training: How to recognize pitches, intervals, and basic chords, improving aural skills for both singing and piano.
    Musicianship: Developing a sense of musical phrasing, expression, and style in both vocal and piano performance.
    Performance Skills: Building confidence on stage or in front of an audience, addressing techniques for both singing and piano presentation.
    Efficient Practice Habits: Strategies for effective practice sessions to maximize progress in both voice and piano.

BM in Vocal Performance and Composition with extensive studies in Vocal and Piano Pedagogy. About 10 years of experience teaching piano. 

Homework Offered
Homework will consist of:

    Regular piano practice:  Focusing on assigned pieces, technical exercises, and theory concepts.

    Regular vocal practice: Working on assigned songs, vocal warm-ups, and exercises for technique development.

    Occasional theory, listening, or creative assignments: These might be related to music history, ear training, or short composition exercises, tailored to the student's interests and goals.
