US Grade 11 - 12
Recommended prerequisite: https://outschool.com/classes/introduction-to-admission-essays-Yqnxtv26 In this 1:1, your student will work with me on their admissions or scholarship essay. Our time will be personalized based on where they are in the writing process. This class can be booked multiple times if needed. Whether your student progresses with their essay depends on their participation and effort level. It will NOT be written for them. I will serve as a guide as we work through the process. If meeting multiple times, I will send updates on student progress and my recommendations. If time allows, we will also discuss college searching, what to expect as a college student, and financial aid. Your student's meeting will cover the relevant topic depending on where they are in the writing process. Step 1: Brainstorming and "The Rules" Step 2: Prewriting Step 3: Outline Step 4: Introduction Step 5: Body Paragraphs Step 6: Conclusion Step 7: Editing and Revising Step 8: Final Review and Next Steps I look forward to working with your student!
