In this on-going class students do a book study on a book of their choice.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 12
Students have a lot of flexibility in this class. Students will choose a book that they'd like to read or have been assigned at school and complete a book study on the book. The student will learn the context of the book and necessary vocabulary. They will have comprehension questions and writing assignments. Homework Offered
Students, parents and teachers will create a plan with the teacher about the amount of reading between classes and also what assignments they feel would enhance learning.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Students can choose to be formally or informally assessed depending on preferences.Grades Offered
Some of the books may contain discussion of violence, sexuality or foul language, however, parents get to choose which book they are comfortable with.
