1:1 Book Study: Choose Your Own Book Study

Students have a lot of flexibility in this class. Students will choose a book that they'd like to read or have been assigned at school and complete a book study on the book. The student will learn the context of the book and necessary vocabulary. They will have comprehension questions and writing assignments. Students, parents and teachers will create a plan with the teacher about the amount of reading between classes and also what assignments they feel would enhance learning.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
