Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 8
Beginner - Intermediate Level
✅ What Will Be Taught:

Students will learn how to keep a steady beat, play beginner drum set rhythms, and create fun fills.
They’ll develop coordination, timing, and confidence — all while having a blast making music.

All course material follows Mr. Rob’s structured 3-Year Drum Curriculum, designed to guide students from their first beats to intermediate drum set skills in a fun, step-by-step way.

✅ What Topics Will You Cover:
	•	Basic drum set coordination (hands and feet)
	•	Easy rock, pop, and world music beats
	•	Beginner fills and transitions
	•	Playing along with real songs
	•	How to practice drumming at home (even without a full drum set!)
	•	Building focus, rhythm memory, and musical confidence

✅ How Is Your Class Structured:

Each lesson is personalized for your child. A typical lesson includes:
🥁 Quick rhythm warm-up or drum game

🎵 Learning or reviewing a new beat, fill, or song

🎯 Focusing on one fun skill to build each week

🌟 Ending with encouragement and a simple practice challenge

Lessons are designed to keep kids moving, learning, and feeling successful from the very first session.

✅ How Will You Teach:
	•	Hands-on from the start — students will be drumming right away
	•	Live demonstrations from multiple angles when needed
	•	Rhythm games and movement activities to make learning stick
	•	Immediate practice after short, simple explanations
	•	Encouraging a playful, low-pressure environment where kids can have fun and be themselves

✅ What’s Your Teaching Style:

Our teaching style is positive, high-energy, and playful.
We believe music should be fun first, with skills developing naturally as kids get excited about what they’re learning.
We specialize in working with beginners, homeschoolers, and neurodiverse learners, creating lessons that build confidence, coordination, and creativity in every student.

✅ How Much Will Learners Get to Interact With You:

These are fully interactive, one-on-one lessons.
Students will be drumming, practicing beats, and engaging directly with the teacher throughout the entire session.
No long lectures — just lots of playing, laughing, and growing!

Learning Goals

1.	Learn how to play real drum beats and fun fills using beginner techniques.
2.	Build strong timing, hand coordination, and rhythmic memory through movement and games.
