Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
This class is perfect for young learners who are just beginning to explore the alphabet or need extra practice with letter sounds and recognition. Each week, we’ll focus on a new letter, starting with A, and read a story that features that letter. As we read, we’ll stop to talk about the story, ask fun questions, and think about what’s happening—helping to build comprehension and critical thinking skills. If time allows, we’ll also play interactive games to practice the letter sound we covered in the lesson and build vocabulary in an engaging way. Whether it’s a silly word game, an alphabet scavenger hunt, or an action-packed movement game, your child will get to reinforce what they’ve learned through play. I’ll start with A, but if there’s a specific letter you’d like your child to focus on, just let me know! This is an interactive and flexible class designed to help kids learn in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. I can't wait to see you in my classroom—let’s make learning letters exciting! My teaching style? My approach with young learners is very patient and kind. I emphasize positive reinforcement as much as possible and let the students know that their hard work is paying off. Throughout the class, students receive lots of praise—words like "Good work! You're doing great! Excellent job!"—to keep them motivated and confident in their progress. Why choose this class? Every child is unique, and this class is designed to tap into your learner's personal interests to make learning engaging and relevant. Whether your child loves animals, superheroes, video games, cartoons or building things, I will adapt activities to their favorite topics, helping them learn the alphabet in a fun way.
Learning Goals
Your child will be able to recognize and identify letters of the alphabet, associate each letter with its corresponding sound, and strengthen their early literacy skills through engaging stories, discussions, and interactive games.
