US Grade Kindergarten - 4
Goals will be individualized based on your child's needs. I will provide you with the goals we will be working on as well as the ongoing assessment so that you can see/monitor your child's progress.
I am a trained and certified special education teacher as well as a literacy specialist. I have many years of experience tutoring one-on-one. I am also the lead person at my school working with a team of special education teachers to help our most vulnerable learners.

I am happy to provide tutoring references.
Homework Offered
I am happy to suggest additional practice assignments as well as teach you how to do some of that practice with your child so that they continue to improve even when not in a session with me.
Assessments Offered
Ongoing assessment will be provided every session for decoding tutoring (or every other session depending on skills/age/context). Assessment is a key part of tracking improvement in decoding skills.
Grades Offered
It would be most helpful if your child had the following (although not strictly necessary these materials make it a lot easier)
- Whiteboard
- Dry Erase markers (black and another color)
- Paper and a fine tipped sharpie
