Renata Neufeld
Renata is a results-oriented professional, an experienced and enthusiastic tutor, and a published author.
Renata teaches English, Literacy and ESL including reading decoding, comprehension and written expression (all levels to adult), French and Math from K to Grade 6. She also assists tweens, teens and young adults with courses related to business and technology, financial literacy, basic economics, and entrepreneurial studies. Renata’s communication and past experience as a Health and Safety trainer in the workplace, mesh well with students who are prepping for public speaking, oral and group presentations, debates etc. or who are pursuing certifications of their own on the way to future employment. Renata’s unique approach is used to create a customized program for each student based on a careful yet informal initial assessment during her first sessions, after surveying parental and student goals and reviewing the student’s learning history. Weak areas are identified and targeted quickly, and adjustments are made as tutoring progresses, so the program continues to fit the student effectively over time.
