Welcome to 101 Private-C++ Programming -Intermediate- Level 2 - 30 Minutes Weekly Program Description: -Take your knowledge in C++ programming to another level by learning about functions/methods and object orienting programming. It is how programmer solve real world problems – using methods and object orienting programming. -These C++ programming skills will gain you skills and experience to create your own block of code that performs a specific task. And you will also learn how to divide complex problem into small chunks so that you can reuse your code in other program, rather than spending extra time in writing code again. -Learners will have an individual session with a coding expert to learn the fundamentals of C++-coding -This program is offered throughout the year What You Will Learn: -C++ Methods, and constructors -Static keywords in methods, variable scope -Assessing modifiers -Recursion in C++ methods -Creating objects containing methods with Object orienting programming -C++ classes, and different types of classes -Encapsulation in Object orienting programming -Polymorphism in Object orienting programming -Abstraction in Object orienting programming -Interface in Object orienting programming Before enrolling into this class, please make sure that you have programming skills in -C++ variables and data type, and type casting -C++ operators -C++ with String -Conditions (if, else if and else) -Switch case -For loop -While loop -Some knowledge of arrays Even if you have knowledge of 2-3 of the above programming skills, you can catch up with a few introductory back-to-basics class. Please follow these steps:
1. Go to https://replit.com/
2. Make an account and for this, click on “sign up” on top right of website.
3. You can create an account by typing in username, email and password
4. An email will be sent to the email address which you typed in when signing up. There you have
to click on the activation link.
5. Sign in to you account by typing in email/username and password.
6. Under “create” heading, click on C++ to get started with coding. You will have to type in title of
the code according to the lesson, followed by clicking on “create repl”.
If you require help with the above, do not worry! The instructor will help you during the lesson. See you in class! :)

Juwairiah Zia is an M.Sc. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She is also passionate about science communication and teaching STEM subjects and coding, especially to kids and youth. She has been working with student for more than 2 years and have skilled them with Scratch, Python, Java, C/C++ and robotics. She is passionate about this coding teaching experience while growing her skills and challenging herself.
