Students may know some of the rules but review of those are always helpful. 1-i before e 2-words ending in V 3-one syllable, short vowel words ending in F, S, L 4-Ci, ce, cy = /s/ sounds 5.-gi, ge, cy = /j/ sound 6.-Short vowel words ending in /k/ 7. -adge, -edge, -idge, -odge, -udge 8. - plural (s or es) 9. - drop the l in all as a prefix: always, also, altogether..... 10. - CVC + ing, ed =double consonant At the end of class, if time...
