Description

Class Experience

Students will practice their rhyming skills, as well as counting, and letter sounds.  
Students will learn about the parts of a book.
Students will practice pre-reading skills such as reading from left to right and top to bottom.
Students will understand words represent a spoken word and convey a message.
Students will answer simple questions about the story.
Students will describe elements in a story, for example, characters and/or setting (time, place, and/or environment).
 1 file available upon enrollment
*PDF of apples - cut out before class (you can also create your own apples or use an apple cut in half with paint to stamp apples on top of students head) *Sheet of construction paper cut in half long ways (4 1/2 inches X 11 inches) *picture of your child (cutout your child) *glue
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
