Class Experience
Objective: Learners will create a book cover for a story they wrote or a book they have read in the free graphics program, Canva. This one-time class is great for creative writing learners who would like to create a book cover for a story they have already written or to use as inspiration for a story they want to create. Topics that will be covered in our interactive class, how to: 1) use the intuitive Create a Design button feature in Canva 2) add an image in the background, resize or...
Students will learn about the elements that belong on a book cover, how spacing is important to aesthetic, how important the text font is when creating a cover, and how to make sure their title and first name can be read over top of an image.
None, unless your learner wants more time to finish their book cover.
Canva account, and the Canva app needs to be open along with the Outschool Zoom lesson window.

I can give feedback to students in during live class, in the private chat (for a shy learner), or after class through the conversations tab in Outschool.
