1 on 1 Writing Tutoring: Creative Writing, Essays and More

Writing can be done in so many ways. Essays can be used to argue, teach, inform and persuade. Stories short and long can be used to bring people to another world, going on the most amazing adventures. Poems are used to invoke emotion and make readers question and feel things around them. 

The fun thing is that each of these have the same fundamentals necessary to get the job done. 

In this 1 on 1 private tutoring class, I will format a lesson plan to help your child step by step, whether this be an assignment from school or something they are working on individually.

Together we will explore their writing skills and creativity. Of course with creative writing, we will also cover grammar, word choice, story and character building as well as story layout to ensure each learner's skills progress. This skill building will carry over into all writing practices, ensuring they grow into confident and proficient authors. We will use real world and published fiction examples to check comprehension in the skills we are using.

All of these materials will be prepared specifically for your learner as their needs are met and addressed. Homework is optional and can be added as time and necessity allows.
